Hi, I’m Jisell Howe, a passionate photographer with a focus on dramatic portraits, still life, food styling, architecture, and nature. Over the last several years, I’ve developed a keen eye for capturing images in creative ways with both natural light and artificial light.

My journey in photography began in 2017 when I fell in love with reportage family photography. I later got into still life, nature, and food styling. My various business trips allowed me to dabble in architecture and street photography as well. Lately, my focus has been in studio photography and anything to do with artificial light. My work has been featured in various Instagram photography communities, and most recently, multiple entries of my work were accepted into the prestigious 2024 Creators Competition, judged by acclaimed fashion and beauty photographer Lindsay Adler. It was a valuable learning experience. Congratulations to the winners!

I have dabbled in multiple genres and love to experiment with different techniques. I am committed to producing high-quality work and maintaining professional standards. My work is inspired by cinema and Old Dutch Masters paintings, and my photography style is bold, dramatic, and expressive. While I primarily share my work here and on social media, I am open to discussing potential projects or commissions that align with my interests and expertise.
